Salary: circa £6,000 p.a.

Location: Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes

Hours: 14 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31st December 2010

The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis, whoever and
wherever they are.

 

Community Based First Aid Training aims to develop individual and community capacity to cope with emergencies. The post holder will identify, coordinate and develop community projects, including those with vulnerable and excluded groups. They will also plan and deliver as well as observing, monitoring and evaluating training.  They will gather data and feedback and report findings as well as line managing Educators.

The successful applicant will need to have experience of delivering training and be flexible, including working evenings and weekends as required. The ideal candidate will have experience of coordinating a project or activity and/or experience of supervising others in a paid or voluntary capacity. They will also need to be prepared to travel extensively throughout Milton Keynes.
