PROJECT LEADER - Milton Keynes Care in the Home and Community Support

 

 

Salary: £11,259 to £12,571 pa

Location: Based at Stony Stratford.

Hours: 20 hours per week - 12 month fixed term contract

This exciting new post is to lead on a new project which will provide flexible, community based support programmes in partnership with other organisations to promote and maintain vulnerable people's independence and improve the ability to live in their own home.  This will include opportunities that will encourage and enable community participation and prevent social isolation and that will develop social, physical and mental skills. Primarily the project will focus on older people in Milton Keynes.  The post holder will assist with the development of programmes that fit with the Red Cross strategy of Saving Lives Changing Lives and the Government white paper 'Supporting People and Putting People First' and engage with beneficiaries and partners in scoping future programmes.

 

You will need to have the experience and skills to promote and market the project and raise awareness of the Red Cross in Milton Keynes. This will include project management experience. You will also need to be able to travel and work across the TVA on a regular basis as is appropriate
