Enabling the new department to make a significant impact on how our volunteers engage with, and contribute to the organisation. 

1. To provide a professional volunteer management expertise and to partner with the business to ensure a specialist service is provided.

2. To develop and implement plans at regional level to support strategic initiatives on volunteer resourcing, development, policy development and deployment.

3. To scope, timetable and successfully implement volunteering projects identified by Guide Dogs.

4. To develop volunteering best practice with liaison from external bodies.
