Volunteer Management Training We provide specialist expert training in all major aspects of volunteer and intern management for any organisations that utilise or wish to utilise volunteers in their work.
We are now opening places for the following summer training courses:
- Advertising & Recruiting Volunteers and Interns Thur 17th July 10.30am - 4.30pm Mayfair Library, London W1
- Starting Your Volunteer Programme Fri 18th July 10.30am - 4.30pm Mayfair Library, London W1
- Supporting & Supervising Your Volunteers Thurs 24th July 10.30am - 4.30pm Mayfair Library, London
- Volunteering and Legal Issues (half day) Fri 25th July 2.00pm - 5.00pm Mayfair Library, London W1
Advertising for and Recruiting Volunteers and Interns
This course deals with how to find and recruit volunteers for your organisation. It includes advice on how and where to advertise for volunteers and interns, assessing, interviewing and selecting volunteers and developing recruitment policies
Starting Your Volunteer Programme
This course is suitable for anyone staring up a volunteer programme or starting to work with volunteers for the first time. It offers advice on deciding how volunteers and interns can support your organisation and in what roles, gaining support for your volunteer programme and how to motivate your volunteers.
Supporting and Supervising Your Volunteers
This course is suitable for anyone already working with volunteers that wants to update, refresh and improve their volunteer programme. It offers advice on creating support and supervision structures, retaining volunteers and monitoring and evaluating your volunteer programme.
Volunteering and Legal Issues
This is a half day course which deals with a range of legal issues around volunteering. Issues covered include CRB checks, insurance, health and safety and ensuring that your volunteer policy, documentation are in line with legal and best practice requirements.
Courses are fifty pounds for the full day courses and thirty pounds for half day courses. (Five pounds extra if you require lunch) If you are interested but cannot make these dates then we can reserve places for courses later this year.
