Individuals: membership fees

Individuals can join AVM as members on payment of an annual subscription based on salary:

Salary Membership fee
Unemployed/volunteer £25
Up to and including £25,000 £50
Over £25,000 £75


Organisations: Learning & Development Package fees

Organisations can join the AVM Learning & Development package on payment of an annual subscription based on the organisation’s gross income:

£25M+ £2,500
£10M – £25M £2,000
£5M – £10M £1,500
£2M – £5M £1,000
£750k – £2M £500
Up to £750k £250


How to join

If you’re looking to become an AVM member as an individual, please read our code of conduct for members. Next, fill in your details in our application form for membership.

If you’re looking to join the AVM Learning & Development Package as an organisation, fill in the application form for L&D.

Once you submit your form, we will respond to you within seven days to confirm receipt of your application.

We can send you an invoice on request.

Paying by BACS transfer

AVM’s account is at Co-operative Bank (include applicant name or applicant’s organisation as reference on transfer – Account no: 65249152 – Sort Code: 089299).

Please include our invoice number in your BACS payment reference.

Paying online

You can also pay online. Once your application has been processed, you will receive an invoice by email which contains a link where you can securely pay your membership subscription online.

You can pay online through a variety of methods. You can pay via:

  • credit or debit card
  • PayPal
  • Directly via your bank account

Paying by cheque

Write the name/s of the applicant/s along with the invoice number, if you’ve received an invoice from AVM. Send the cheque made payable to the ‘Association of Volunteer Managers’ to:

  • Association of Volunteer Managers
  • 2-6 Tenter Ground, London E1 7NH
