Are you responsible for developing your organisation’s volunteer strategy?

This workshop is specifically designed for volunteer managers in small to medium-sized organisations who need practical advice and expertise without high costs, and is being led by volunteer engagement professionals Rob Jackson and Dan O’Driscoll.

This is the only time this workshop will run in 2025, so make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to gain a clear direction, greater confidence, and the tools you need to build a volunteer strategy that makes a real difference.

As well as a full day of interactive sessions, you will also receive a pack of handouts and reference materials, including three great examples of volunteering strategies.

This event will cover:

  • Understanding the external context for volunteering
  • Analysing your organisation’s readiness via SWOT
  • How to set out the fundamentals of why volunteers are crucial to your cause
  • Planning next steps using a Start Stop Continue approach
  • Action planning so people leave with tangible next steps actions.

By the end of the event, you will leave with:

  • Proven frameworks to help you develop a volunteer strategy that aligns with your organisation’s mission
  • Practical tools and templates that you can take back and apply straight away
  • Confidence to lead future strategic volunteer engagement initiatives.
