Whatever is stopping you from making change happen, influence is always part of the answer. Our members and delegates have shared that they know where they need to go, but they aren’t sure how they will travel there with their senior managers, colleagues or volunteers.

This event will explore how leaders of volunteering have developed their influencing and assertiveness skills at a variety of authority levels, and where the opportunities and pitfalls could be for you.

If we don’t change, do we risk irrelevance?

Meeting the expectations of volunteers, funders, colleagues and organisations is an ongoing and challenging balancing act, as highlighted in NCVO’s Time Well Spent report. Are you striking that balance now? Do you know how you’ll influence others to continuously improve your volunteer involvement?

Join us at this vibrant, engaging and open forum for an exchange of good practice and discussion on how we can support each other on this important subject.
